Free Press Summer Fest

This was our third FPSF experience. We saw CHVRCHES and they were pretty amazing. The lead singer, Lauren Mayberry, was so full of energy and has a really pretty voice. "The Mother We Share" was fun to hear live. J. Roddy Walston & The Business was cool. This was right about the time their hit "Heavy Bells" was getting a lot of radio play. Another band we were excited to see was Deftones. I think "Change (In the House of Flies)" is one of the sexiest songs ever, and its live rendition definitely lived up. Jonathan said he was a little disappointed with the rest of their set, and I don't totally blame him. We also saw Flosstradamus, Big Gigantic, and Zedd. The only "notes" I took from the show are pretty telling of the festival climate and are below.
