So the school I go to put on a music festival, Sammypalooza. It’s just about the coolest thing
Sam Houston State has ever/will ever do so I wanted to at least check it out. There were quite a few lesser known bands (and a rapper!) that played outside during the day. Sadly, (I'm actually only being 10% sarcastic) I could only make it to the part that was inside our huge Coliseum. First up was Story of the Year. They screamed, they cussed, and it was fun! Something about hearing the F word at your school is just.. awesome. Their two hits “Until The Day I Die” and “Anthem of Our Dying Day” were amazing to hear live. Next up was Jack Ingram. Me and Jonathan couldn’t quite stomach the countryness, so we bailed. Wish we could have caught Lifehouse’s set, but what can ya do? Thanks Sam Houston! Bring it back next year!
