03/13/10 Citizen Cope with Gin House of Blues- Houston, TX

Didn't have that great of seats, but what can ya do?

My last recollection of Citizen Cope was a bit fuzzy so I was really looking forward to seeing him a second time with my boyfriend. Citizen Cope is one of the few artists/bands that we agree on. The rest basically consists of Death Cab for Cutie, Blink 182, & Pat Green. Although, as of late he is starting to broaden his tunes because we are both going to Austin City Limits in October; he doesn’t want to be THAT GUY that doesn’t know any of the songs! ;) Back to the show, it was so great & so chill. Gin opened, she was… lively. She hopped around a lot and did a terrible Texas accent, but that’s okay. Citizen played a great set. Highlights were: Let the Drummer Kick & Bullet and a Target. Also of note, the House of Blues was SO nice!
